Optimizing Table Functions

These features enhance user experience by making data navigation, interpretation, and customization more intuitive and accessible.

Here's an in-depth look at how these functions can optimize your financial data handling.

Optimize Your Financial View

Search

Locating specific data within extensive financial tables can be time-consuming. The search function in Lucid Dreams simplifies this process, allowing you to find the exact information you need quickly by entering keywords, account names, or specific figures into the search bar.

Effortlessly locate specific data within your financial tables using the search function. By typing in keywords or numbers, you can quickly find the information you need, saving valuable time and ensuring accuracy.

Example Use Case

If you need to find all transactions related to "office supplies" from the past year, type "office supplies" into the search function. Lucid Dreams will highlight all relevant entries, making it easy to review and analyze these expenditures.

Dates Views / Actual vs Forecasted Data

Accurate financial reporting and analysis depend on correctly interpreting dates. Lucid Dreams' date functions ensure you have the correct timeframes for your financial analysis by offering flexible customization options.

Additionally, if applied, a date range being viewed in the Report can include time periods that already has happened and have Actual Data for it, as well as Future Forecasts based on the actual data and Assumptions.

Understand and customize the timeframes represented in your data. Dates are critical for accurate reporting and analysis. Lucid Dreams provides flexible date customization options, allowing you to display and interpret data by day, week, month, quarter, or year.

Example Use Case

When preparing a quarterly report, adjust the date settings to view data exclusively for the desired quarters. This ensures your reports are timely and relevant, facilitating better decision-making and strategic planning.

Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly Views

Customizing your data outlook is essential for comprehensive insights. Lucid Dreams allows easy switching between different timeframes—quarterly, monthly, and yearly—through the settings menu, tailoring the data outlook to suit your analysis preferences.

Adjust your data outlook based on your needs by switching between quarterly, monthly, and yearly views. Navigate to the settings menu and select your preferred timeframe to modify the view, gaining comprehensive insights into your financial performance.

Example Use Case

To compare the monthly performance of your business over the past year, select the monthly view in the settings. Lucid Dreams will reorganize the data, providing a detailed month-by-month comparison that highlights trends and patterns critical for your financial strategy.
